I personally find it difficult to change the HTML in blogger. However, I have managed to change the background colour, text colour, the background image (which I designed in Photoshop) of the title and the text alignment.
I believe a blog layout should be simple, hence the look of my blog. This enables the viewer to concentrate on the actual blog post instead of the background and other graphics.
